Admission
Information
Admission procedure at the London Ambassador College is as
follows:
|
Application:
Please download and read the
LAC
Student Information Pack and read carefully before
filling in the Application Form. State
clearly on the form the title of the
course you wish to take and the
month/year when you wish to join. Write
clearly and legibly using capital
letters in BLACK ink. The completed
Application Form must be sent with three
passport-size photographs, copies of
relevant certificates and the
registration fee. An application form
sent without these will not be
processed.
Confirmation of
Eligibility:
|
 |
After
processing the application, if it is
successful, students will be sent a
Confirmation of Eligibility. This states
that the college is satisfied the
student intends to, and has the means
to, study in the UK with London
Ambassador College. For the convenience
of overseas students, the letter will
supply a list of all the necessary
documents to be submitted by the student
to the British High Commission. All
these documents should be originals.
Please remember that obtaining a visa takes time. You should
allow at least six weeks for applying and also allow time
for a letter to reach you by mail. Faxes will not be
accepted by the visa authorities. The total visa application
procedure involves patience.
You have to show the Immigration Officer that you are fully
able to finance your cost for each academic year and
necessary foreign exchange for this purpose is available.
CAS Allocation:
Following a Confirmation of
Eligibility, the final stages of a formal enrolment with LAC
involve the applicant being issued with a Confirmation of
Acceptance for Studies (CAS) unique reference number. Anyone
wishing to study in the UK from outside the European Union
must present a valid CAS reference number to the British
High Commission as part of their study visa application. LAC
is allocated a limited amount of CAS numbers to issue to
prospective students, based on the number of available
places LAC has to offer for that particular academic year.
CAS number allocation is strictly
subject to payment of the necessary
tuition fees in full, or
pre-agreed instalments.
Enrolment:
Your formal enrolment will be complete
upon your arrival at London Ambassador
College, following CAS allocation and
the issue of your study visa from the
British High Commission. Download Application Form
